Kusel psychiatric day-care hospital
The Kusel day-care hospital of the "Pfalzklinikum" has 20 spaces.
The psychiatric day-care hospital is a day-care facility for mentally ill people. Treatment takes place during the day only. The patients spend the evening, the night and the weekend at home in their familiar surroundings. Thus, they can keep in touch with their family, friends and acquaintances.
Who can get treated at the day-care hospital?
The treatment services offered at the day-care hospital are suitable for a wide range of mental diseases for which an outpatient treatment is not sufficient while an inpatient treatment is not – or no longer- necessary. Important prerequisites for the treatment are regular living conditions and the possibility to independently cover the distance between hospital and residence. Temporarily, we can organize transportation by taxi.
The costs are borne by the health insurance funds.
