Occupational Rehab (BIFID) Southern Palatinate, Klingenmünster

Programmes for participation in working life

Outpatient rehabilitation and occupational integration, training and support in the service sector of the "Pfalzklinikum" (BIFID).

Who can work at our facility?

  • If you are restricted in your occupational and social possibilities due to a mental disease or an addictive disorder you can work with us.
  • You should be in a position to reach your work place independently.
  • At the beginning, you should be able to work for at least three hours and this duration should be increased step by step.

What is our target?

By individual promotion and qualification, we want to support you in your search for a place in working life. In this process, we take your personal pre-requisites into consideration and promote your skills.

How do we support you?

When you start, which tasks you assume, which support you need and how long you work with us - all these matters will be individually arranged with you and the provider.

We can support up to 18 persons at a time.

What do we offer to you?

To you – a person from the Southern Palatinate undergoing rehabilitation – the "Pfalzklinikum" offers a perfectly fitting, individual programme to achieve your performance goals for an occupational rehabilitation. The clinical centre provides a wide choice of trainee positions for an individual occupational integration. If necessary, we help you to find a traineeship in suitable regional companies.

During your stay at our house we offer counselling and support in the fields of social work, psychology and occupational therapy.

Our services are split up in three stages

Stage 1

  • Resource analysis
  • Identifying skills and interests
  • Planning the professional career

Stage 2

  • Orientation
  • Theoretical and practical qualification
  • Training of key qualifications and basic occupational skills
  • In-company traineeships

Stage 3

  • Qualification and stabilization
  • Deepening of acquired skills
  • Stabilization of work habit and personal skills
  • In-company traineeships
  • Skills profiling
  • Support in looking for a subsequent occupation

Where does the money come from?

We are glad to assist you in clarifying the responsibility and the absorption of cost.

Before programmes for participation in working life can be financed, you have to submit an application for approval to the provider of occupational rehabilitation (pension insurance company, employment office, work groups and employer’s liability insurance association).

The approval by the respective rehabilitation provider is needed prior to the beginning of the measure.

If you want to get more information, please do not hesitate to make an appointment for an informal consultation.
