The hospital for Neurology of the "Pfalzklinikum" at the location Klingenmünster has two wards with a total of 54 beds. Since 2006, they have been situated in a new building. All rooms are rooms with en suite bathroom.

Profile of the hospital
The hospital of Neurology of the "Pfalzklinikum" has 54 beds. We conduct complete neurological function diagnostics with EEG, EMG, evoked responses, ultrasonic examination of the arteries in the neck and head (extracranial and intracranial Doppler and colour duplex sonography). Associated to the department of Neurology is the department of Neuroradiology. The latter disposes of a high-quality spiral scan computer tomography apparatus and a powerful magnetic resonance imaging apparatus (MRI). We use the MRI machine in co-operation with the "Vinzentius-Krankenhaus", a hospital in Landau.
The overall cross-sectional image diagnostic at cranium and spine is done for all "Pfalzklinikum" patients. All functional laboratories dispose of state-of-the-art equipment. A neuropsychologist belongs to the medical staff of the department of Neurology.
Since 2005, we have worked together with the specialists in internal medicine) of the clinical centre Landau-Südliche Weinstraße on a stroke unit in Landau.
