The department of General Psychiatry of the "Pfalzklinikum" at the location Klingenmünster has seven wards with a total of 117 beds.
"… Many things are no longer as they were before. You feel differently, perhaps you perceive things differently. How you think and act often seems to be difficult to understand to you and others. Perhaps you do not get along well with your daily life. You do not feel well with it. You need help! In the department of General Psychiatry, you will find specific help for such psychic problems which can hit all of us. Here, we treat people with various psychic diseases such as depressions, anxieties, psychoses, eating disorders …"

Support for mentally ill people’s relatives
Our guided focus group meets every first and third Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. in Klingenmünster, building 4, room 20-011.
We cordially invite you to talk to other relatives and benefit from professional support to regain strength in order to master your difficult life situation.
The group is guided by senior physician Dr. med. Michaela Gensheimer (Telephone 06349/900-2162) and social worker Heike de Haan (Telephone 06349/900-2117). A registration is not required.
