Living at the “Pfalzinstitut”, Klingenmünster
At the “Pfalzinstitut”, the patients live in single and double bedrooms with a cosy ambience.

Besides
- lounges and
- common rooms
there are many
- therapy rooms,
- handicrafts rooms,
- a therapy pool with sauna and sanarium,
- a sports hall and
- multi-functional outside facilities (stadium, nature-oriented playground, streetball court, tennis courts, mini-golf).
The "Pfalzinstitut" is situated in a charming landscape: in the natural preserve of the Palatinate Forest, directly at the German Wine Route – surrounded by forests, meadows and vineyards.
Nature-oriented playground inaugurated

Slide, rope, tree house, willow tipi and a pump with watercourse are part of the new nature-oriented playground inaugurated on the occasion of the 6th celebration of "Spass uff de Wiss" ("Having fun on the meadow") on July 11, 2004. The playground on the area of the children’s hospital offers many opportunities for adventure and, of course, for getting to know nature.
The playground was planned by the Klingenmünster engineering office Stadt und Natur, ("City and Nature").
For the design of the playground approx. 83,000 Euro were needed. Most of the money was donated.
Among the donors are:
- Verein der Freunde des Pfalzinstituts e.V., Klingenmünster (Association of friends of the „Pfalzinstitut")
